Whitty - Footprints In The Custard

About Whitty

Footprints In The Custard are a Manchester-based five-piece comedy metal band that play songs about various bodily functions, time travelling wizards, profuse drinking, genitalia, and bears.

Renowned for lively music combining thrashy riffs, shouty vocals, catchy hooks, and a whole lot of silliness, the lads have gone from strength to strength since their inception back in 2006, as a bunch of drunk college students.

Their live show, which incorporates high-energy performances, tutus, inflatables, and a somewhat salty mankini, has become a firm favourite in the scene and continues to mutate and develop with every sordid step through their unlikely career.

Winners of the Hobgoblin Metal 2 the Masses competition 2016, Footprints played to a packed-out New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2016.

Further festival slots have seen the boys play HRH Metal Birmingham, Amplified, Beermageddon (as voted for by the fans), Hammerfest and even a sneaky RIP set at Download 2018. Following on from these adventures the lads have been confirmed to join the party at HRH Ibiza for 2019.

With three full-length albums, two EPs, and two Christmas songs under their belts the Footprints lads have a busy schedule whilst working towards their next full-length release, set for release in 2019.

The Blackfire 200 is a masterclass of what a modern amp should be. With the turn of a dial I can be ready to play at home or take to the stage within seconds without having to compromise on tone.
