Straight out of the saloons and strip clubs comes ANCHORED, a hard-edged rock unit that packs as much pop as their punch when they unleash their brand of “Dirty Texas Rock”. Formed in the spring of 2009 as a new project by ex-Advent singer Brandan Narrell whose chance meeting with guitarist B.G. Simpson (formally of South Florida alternative rockers Waking Season) sparked a friendship and partnership after being introduced by Splender leader Waymon Boone. Joining the tandem is drummer Matty Clark, who previously held down drum duties for the Sacramento, CA band Bidwell, current Faktion guitarist Josh Franklin handling the bass duties, and ex-Venture guitarist Joel Estes rounding out the quintet on guitars.
