Export Co-Ordinator
Job Description
Department: Sales
Job Title: Export Co-Ordinator
Reporting to: Head Of Sales
Responsible for: Co-ordinated support of the sales process through external customer and inter-departmental communication and actions.
Overall purpose of the job: Supporting the Head of Sales to ensure that there is effective analysis, communication, action and process between Blackstar’s export customers, sales, marketing and the operations and finance departments ensuring we reach annual budget receiving orders and shipping product on time.
Main Activities / Tasks:
  • Meeting the Critical Success Factors from the annual Business Plan, measured against agreed KPIs.
  • Implement sales goals through co-ordination of the activity between the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams.
  • Act as a professional point of contact at all times for internal and external contacts.
  • Direct account service support via telephone, Skype, email and, from time to time, face to face.
  • Processing, analysis and reporting on sales, stock and order data.
  • Implementing and following up on individual Territory Sales Plan actions according to agreed deadlines.
  • Administration of monthly order intake processes and the international distributor network.
  • Research and analysis of market data and the competitive landscape.
Other Duties:
  • General sales administration.
  • Supporting Head of Sales with meeting and travel arrangements/bookings,
  • Any other required duty as and when required.
The Person
Person Specification
  Minimum C grade passes GCE/GCSE Maths and English.
Technical skills
Knowledge of Sage Line 50 or similar accounting package.
Knowledge of commercial calculations e.g. Gross profit margins
Strong and accurate IT skills, especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Exceptional organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent numerical skills.
Experience of communicating with a global customer base.
Foreign language skills.
Working in a fast paced business to business administration role.
Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Working within a KPI structure.

An interest in music The ability to build strong relationships and act as key contact point internally and externally.
Must be resilient and have a flexible approach to work with the ability to work under pressure.

Specific requirements of the role
Work will be based at Blackstar HQ in Northampton
Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Mon-Fri
Willing to work extra hours in order to meet deadlines
