About Laura Ozholl
The girls hail from London and the Home Counties and have built up their strong musicianship and strong representation of women in rock through performances worldwide over the last 10 years. JOANovARC have combined influences from Joan Jett, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Queen and the Foo Fighters to create their own unique sound.
JOANovARC have performed worldwide – in the USA, Mediterranean, the Caribbean and have extensively toured Europe and Japan. They have performed at Harley Davidson European Biker Festivals in Austria; Italy; Croatia; Slovakia and France, on British Army bases in Germany, been contracted on Israel's Red Sea resort, cruise ships in the Baltic sea, performed in a national rock show in theatres throughout the UK, headlined many UK festivals and have electrified audiences in venues including the London Astoria; Cafe de Paris and the O2 Indigo.
They have also supported and worked with Slade, Girl School, Top Loader, Marillion, Bonnie Tyler, Adam Ant, Deborah Bonham, Bad Company, Adam Barron (BBC the Voice), Tenors of Rock, Never the Bride, Beth Hart, Toto and John Altman aka ‘Nick Cotton’ from Eastenders.
JOANovARC toured Europe and Japan in the Spring 2015 and had shows in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya and continue their success with recording for the release of a new album recorded at Rockfield studios with Grammy award winning record producer ‘Gil Norton (‘Foo Fighters, Pixies, Feeder, Echo and the Bunny Men, James) and have also been filming for their '1986 tour' TV Documentary set for release in 2016.
