Few bands have done more to push the boundaries of extreme metal than the legendary Possessed. Even fewer can create a unique style which continues to set them apart from all others by being the very first in a genre, Death Metal. The band is kicking off their European tour at Wacken Open Air festival and will be playing twelve dates across Europe including Bloodstock festival in the UK. Summer NAMM kicks off this week and will be showcasing a complete product landscape set within one of America’s most musical cities, Nashville, Tennessee. This year Blackstar will be there in full force and will be launching three special 10th anniversary edition amps. The Artisan 10 AE, the Series One 10 AE and the Artist 10 AE. Steve Cradock Summer Tour

Long-term Blackstar endorsee Steve Cradock is back on the road this summer with his Artisan 30 rig. Having recently finished touring with Paul Weller, Steve is busy again with a number of Ocean Colour Scene shows throughout the summer culminating with a headline slot at Beyond the Tracks festival in Birmingham this September. Between shows with Ocean Colour Scene, Steve will also be performing his other role as guitarist for The Specials as they take to the stage for several festivals this summer. Agnostic Front Tour '17

The legendary Agnostic Front are currently in the midst of another European tour and will be playing thirty-one dates in a month. Jared James Nichols Tour 2017

Jared James Nichols is currently in the middle of a UK tour which sees him play ten dates across the UK. The first half of the tour was in support of Blue Oyster Cult and Jared and his band have just kicked off the next stage supporting UFO. The Wisconsin-born, Los Angeles-based singer, writer and guitarist kicked off the run with a storming performance at Hellfest in France and will be playing Ramblin’ Man fair and Steelhouse Festival all with his Series One 100 rig and Artist 30 combo. Its Glastonbury Festival this weekend. The five-day festival takes place in Pilton, Somerset and is the largest greenfield festival in the world. It is attended by around 175,000 people and first took place in 1970, back then it was known as Pilton Festival. This year it will be the 35th festival and promises to be as popular as ever. Guitars on the Beach 2017

This weekend on Saturday 17th of June, Guitars On The Beach will take place at Lyme Regis beach and will see the record bid for the most guitarist playing one song together. The songs this year will be Rave On and In The Summertime and Guitars On The Beach 2017 is once again gearing up to be one of the UK’s biggest unique live events of the year. There will be a special appearance from Ray Dorset from Mungo Jerry who will be leading the record attempt which takes place at 5pm. Download Festival is the UK’s premier rock festival. Held annually at Donington Park in Leicestershire it has expanded into a three day rock extravaganza since it was conceived in 2003 as a follow up to the Monsters of Rock festivals. Carl Barat and The Jackals released their latest EP last week ‘Harder They Fall’ to rave reviews and are currently on tour in support of the EP.
