I bought this amp from the local Guitar Center but it was a display and had no paperwork or box. They were unable to tell me how to get the software that was supposed to be included with the amp. Can someone tell me how to do this? I cant find anything on the web site or anywhere for that matter. TIA.

I have the exact same issue. Bought display and no packaging was available. Also purchased from Guitar Center.

I had found that as well but it says that it's only for the 100 and 150.

" If you are an ID:Core Stereo 100 or ID:Core Stereo 150 owner, redeem your FREE copy of PreSonus Studio One Blackstar Edition now."

Let me know if you try it and it works tho!

Use Cockos Reaper Vst instead. Full version unfettered as an unlimited free demo. I paid the minimal home use licence. Otherwise you have to wait a few seconds for it to load. Just a suggestion. I've never used presonus but have used cubase. Just a suggestion.

Did you get anywhere with this? I've applied but haven't heard anything outside of an automated email that said thanks for registering and someone would be contacting me "shortly".

Update: I received an e-mail from enquiries@blackstar.com saying that my receipt showed I bought an ID:Core 40 V2 and the webform was only for customers who bought an ID Core 100 or 150. I replied to the email that the amp was a gift from my daughter and was bought unboxed and asked if they could provide a code. They responded very soon but told me that I'd have to take it up with the store it was purchased from because without the PreSonus card that includes the code it was an "incomplete unit."

I got the receipt from my daughter and took it to the store she bought it from and explained the problem. They were very helpful and hunted for the empty box in the back, which they didn't find, and even called another store to see if they had any empty boxes that the card might be in. After about 40 minutes of two employees hunting and making calls to their other store they found a card in the drawer by the register.

I got back home, registered the code, downloaded the software and everything is good. It would be a lot easier if the ID:Core 10, 20, 40 amps had the same process (web form) for getting the software given the common practice of guitar shops selling them unboxed.
