Hey dudes I'm looking a little advise on my bias setting
I'm using a blackstsar club 40 deluxe .new tubes are tungsol el34b
Plate voltage 402
According to my calculations 65% bias is approximately 40.4mv
Now printed on the PCB circuit board is 50mv

I have noticed at my 40.4mv the bass is a little flabby with neck pickup on my Gibson Les Paul.

My question is would running my bias a little hotter toward the 50mv setting help tighten the bass or would the tubes run too hot .
I'm using an app for my calculations it tells me 50mv is way hot that's taking into account my amp is fixed bias Ab amp .if it were cathode it can run hotter.
Any thoughts guys
