Re: Run a poweramp through the Emulated out?

Captainnemo70, Thanks for catching and clarifying my typo. Yes, that is what I mean. And yes, thanks for the reply. I have to admit, the whole thing is just silly. I don't even want to play that loud, but a friend really wants me to play in his band, to be "rockstars." I said, "Come on, we are too o...

Re: ID Core default EQ

Jiolet, Not sure if anyone ever answered you (that's rude, right?), but I was curious if you ever got your answer. I believe the answer is you do need the computer to set the treble, mid, and bass. BUT, once you do that, however, it's saved on your amp and you never need the computer again. It saves...

Re: ID:Core 10 Speaker Impedance?

Thanks. That was what I thought it was. So what happen? What was the impedance and did you do the mod? Please share because I NEED to do this also. I have an ID: Core 40 and I need a speaker out! From looking at that, it appears I could just do a 4 ohm out for each speaker, but before I take this t...

Re: ID:Core 20 headphone question...

So the headphone out was 100 impedance? I'm trying to find out because I want to plug that "Emulated out" into my power amp so I can them power some 4X12 speaker cabs. I believe my power amp said the impedance input was only 50 so that could become an issue. I don't know. Anyone understand this impe...

Run a poweramp through the Emulated out?

I have a ID Core 40 combo. Fun amp. I used to have a preamp that was connected to an old Power amp with a few 4X12 cabs. Well the preamp died. Here's the question. The only "out" I have on this ID Core 40 is the Emulate Out/headphone jack. Will there be any harm to run the power amp through that? I ...

How to slave my HT-5R to a power amp

Hello folks, I'm hoping you can clear this up. I've seen several post on slaving, but most are not complete or clear. They are clear if you know the process, but if you have questions, it's not specific enough to set up correctly. I'm hoping someone can clarify this process. I have an HT-5R and a Mo...

Re: Modded marshal tone

OK... here goes... a single amp hits the speaker cabinet load, the speaker cabinet impedance load variables and other variables. You can get farty bottom end, great bottom end, not enough perceived gain, a good gain level, etc. In other words, the sound can all be affected by the speaker cabinet an...

Re: HT5RH Can the emulated line out be run to a slave amp?

You may find it would sound better going into a dedicated poweramp or into the effects loop of a head so it just drives the poweramp section of the amp. Hello folks, This is getting confusing. Please tell me if I have this correct. If I have an HT5-R and a power amp, If I wanted to slave the power ...
