Re: Insider Version 1.6.0 (PC and Mac® release)

At work so I haven't tried this, but I did notice this:
Various other updates, including Noise Gate control on ID:Core models via INSIDER
Only on Core? Not the original, more expensive and full-featured models? WTF?!?

Re: About the ID SERIES "Bottom End" thread

MIDI continuous controller messages contain two pieces of info, the controller number (which controller it is), and the value (the actual setting of that controller). The range of controller numbers is 0 - 127. Some have specific standard names and uses (for example controller #1 is mod wheel), but ...

Re: ID:series - BS can't handle

While I certainly agree that Blackstar clearly hasn't devoted enough effort into either resolving this problem or communicating about it, it's quite possible that nothing as sinister as intentionally re-labeling a bug as a feature is going on. Re: ID: series strong damping effect

Don't know how things work there, but if I were you I make a stink. Call the distributor, call or email Blackstar directly, tell them you're going to give up on Blackstar if they don't do better than that. Maybe there's a manufacturing issue and they really can't help it, but wow, that's rotten cust...

Re: How do you save the delay time (tempo) in a patch?

Sorry, but didn't you say you still have the problem w 1.5, and then say they told you it's fixed in 1.5, except for the knob position as shown in INSIDER? The knob position is what you quoted them as saying will be fixed in the next release. If the 1.5 fix for saving delay time isn't working, that'...

Re: ID: series strong damping effect

they (the technical departments) investigated and done intensive test on the all consecutive firmware versions and there is bug of this nature up to (and including) 1.4 So assuming they are right, it then clearly indicate a hardware problem that needs to be fixed! Good news, in that they' see the p...

One guy's no-logic is another guy's genius though... If you find tones you like, and they're not what people "usually" do, even better.
