Acerca de Nicolas Waldo

Nicolas was born in Bogota, Colombia. He is a Guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, graduated as a professional musician and sound engineer on the "Universidad El Bosque" in Bogota in 2005. He began his formal musical studies with piano at 11 years old; at 13 years old, he studied Drums at the Academy "Fuego Juvenil" and when 15 he studied in "Sinfonica Juvenil de Colombia".

Nicolas was an official artist of several international brands such as ESP Guitars (2007-2009); Vogel Guitars (2010 - 2011); Dean Guitars U.S.A (2012 - 2014) and his most recent endorsment with the Japanese company Ibanez Guitars.

Similarly, Nicolas is international artist from Blackstar amps, Joyo technology, Rotosound Strings, Snake picks and Shark Tooth picks U.S.A.

Nicolas has recorded over 10 albums as a soloist on guitar (Full length albums and Ep albums). He is currently part of the european record label Lion Music Finland, a recognised metal label of instrumental rock and metal artists such as Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Ritchie Kotzen, Joe Stump, George Bellas among others.

He has also participated in several international guitar competitions, including the "Dean Guitars Searching Shredders 2008" being selected in the #25 ranking as one of the fastest guitarists on the world.

Now, Nicolas is working on his next solo album and with his side Power Metal project called "Energema". Energema signed on the last weeks with the Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records.

Nicolas is a guitar master from the "Fundacion Artistica Gentil Montaña" and "Taller de Arte" Academy.

I'm now using the HT Stage 60 guitar amplifer. I love this Guitar amp!!... especially for the sound, potency and the power through two high quality Celestion speakers.
