International Sales Assistant
 Do you have strong administration experience, ideally within a busy, international sales environment? Are you looking to move into a newly created position which will offer you the opportunity to develop into a key role as the internal support to the International Sales Manager and the chance to make the role your own?

The International Sales Assistant role contributes to the export sales development of the Company through the sales and marketing of Blackstar products. Reporting directly to the International Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation and execution of all export sales related activities.
Main Activities / Tasks:
  • A professional point of contact at all times for internal and external contacts
  • Direct account support via telephone, Skype, email and, from time to time, face to face – you may occasionally be required to travel abroad for distributor meetings or to represent Blackstar at trade shows
  • Implementing and following up on individual Territory Sales Plan actions to agreed deadlines
  • Administration of monthly order intake processes and the international distributor network
  • Liaison between the Sales and Operations teams
  • Research and analysis of market data and the competitive landscape
  • Meeting the Critical Success Factors from the annual Business Plan, measured against agreed KPIs
  • General sales administration and travel bookings
Essential Skills:
  • The ability to build strong relationships and act as key contact point for all export customers
  • Strong and accurate IT skills, especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of standard commercial calculations e.g. gross profit margins
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks to deadlines
  • A flexible approach to work – a great attitude and a strong team player
  • Working in a fast paced, customer facing administration role
  • Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Working within a KPI structure
Desirable Skills:
  • Language skills
  • Experience of communicating with a global customer base
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 or similar accounting package
  • A passion for the music industry
