Hi,

First post. A long time rock and metal player. I've come to Blackstar to try and find 'my' amp(s) after looking into the Series 100 6L6 Image

I'm also going through a 'mid-life' Blues crisis LOL and could also be looking at a small Artisan for my blues jamming sessions.

So, no Blackstar amp at the moment, but may rectify this situation soon!

If you get a chance, try an artisan amp with a HT-DUAL in front.

It's a set-up not many people think of, but personally, it's my favourite.
You can have your artisan for blues gigs, then plug your DUAL in to give you 2 high gain channels.
The Artisan seems to love HT Pedals.

Then again, I've had a chance to play the Series One 1046L6 and I must say, the power from it is incredible.

I'm going to hang in until I can get to play a Series One 6l6 for my rock/metal needs. What I have decided is I 'love' the Artisan 30 Head, but man I need to attenuate it for the smaller gigs even at 10 watts!

I'm about to place an order for the Artisan in the next few days.
