Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the HT Club 50, so far I'm pretty happy with.
It gets put to the test at rehearsal tonight, but I'm pretty confident it'll pass!

I've been a mostly older single channel Marshall guy for a long time. I've tried many 2+ channel Marshalls and always had a problem with one of the channels, either the clean had too early breakup or the clean was good but the dirty channel sounded thin with no balls to it or didn't cut through.

That's where the Blackstar comes in, I tried other companies looking for that dirty Marshally sound but had a good clean that you could get some decent volume out of before it broke up and I think I've definitely found it with the HT Club 50.
Not only can I get the classic type tone I'm looking for but it's flexible enough to get a little more modern with turn of a dial.
One of the things that I really like is that the clean channel is just a volume and a tone, so it brings out the sound of the guitar plugged in and enhances it instead of changing it with an EQ.

The other guitarist in the band has been fighting with the sound of his amp for a while now and I think after I walk in and he hears the Club 50, there could be dueling Blackstars by next week ;-)

Looking forward to being part of the Blackstar community

Gigging with it tonight, can't wait.

He likes it, but I don't think I've converted him yet.

Give me a little more time ;)
