Hi

Just gone to use my amp for the first time and I am a complete noob, so please be kind :)

I plug it into the mains, using a working socket, I see the light illuminated on the power cable but no less lit up on the amp itself. I read I have to have the guitar plugged in so I've tried that also.

before I go down the route of sending it back, any ideas please?

thanks,

Marc

The guitar doesn't have to be plugged in for the one of the LEDs to light for the mode "warm, bright, crunch, supercrunch, OD1, or OD2"

If the unit is connected to the external power brick, and you switch the Core amp's power on and there's still no amp LEDs lit, then it sounds like your amp is defective and should be returned for a working unit.
