It has been brought to our attention that MacOS High Sierra has caused some units to no longer connect to the INSIDER software and appears to have also stopped Flash Player operation via the website. We're aware that this is currently only affecting the 4-channel audio models;

- ID:Core 10, 20 and 40 V2
- ID:Core 100 and 150

We are working to resolve this as soon as possible, but for the current time are unable to confirm support for MacOS High Sierra until further notice.

We have tested MacOS Sierra (MacOS version before the recent release of High Sierra) and can confirm that the functionality remains intact, with INSIDER and Webpage downloads working correctly at present.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

You can add the ID Core BEAM to that list as well :(

Doesn't seem to work with ID:Series 60 TVP-H either... :-(

Very disappointed -- the Insider software was part of what made me choose Blackstar over other modelling amps.

Cheers.

I am wondering what the timescale is for the update on this for it to work on the new mac software. I can see that this has now been ongoing for a while, and I bought the head for this ability to use with my Mac.

Regards

Adrian

FWIW, I installed parallels and windows 10 on my mac. The windows version of Insider works fine this way. It did, however, take a couple of reboots and unplugging/replugging for the amp to be recognised.

I would like to know where we are with an update to the mac software though. I see blackstar have a released a few new toys lately, I hope they haven't forgotten about us ID:Core users.
