Hiya,

I recently purchased a Blackstar Series One 1046l6 which sounds sweet!

I also own a Boss GT-100 and was wondering how I can get that pedal to effectively integrate with the amp.

Functions I would like to achieve would be the following;

- Amp channel switching as part of patches
- 4 channel use? 2 Channels is fine but yeh.
- What cables would I need?

I have scoured quite a few articles and vids but cannot seem to find the answer! :(

Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Cheers,

Gaz

I have the same amp except with POD HD500. I run with 4 cable method (google to find out how to run cables its easy) and a midi cable for channel switching. There will be a little bit of a learning curve to learn your unit to understand how to have the effect in the right places but as far as integrating channel switching you should be able to select which channel you want for which patch, hit save on the gt100 and it should save the channel with whatever fx you have.

I have an S1 104EL34 with a GT100 running 4 cables method. Works awesome except I have a volume drop when I engage the effect loop on the GT100. I turned the Send and Return volumes to 160 instead of 100 and everthing is fine.

Amp channels are switch via MIDI.

I finally found a better solution. Both volume of the GT100 are back to 100.

GT-100 input level at -10
Blackstar effects loop input level at +4

Volume drop is now gone :)
