Will these speakers work for my HT-100?

Ok, so I've enjoyed my Blackstar Ht-100 and Marshall 1960 Lead cab, but I'm getting a bit bored with the G12T-75 speakers. I'm thinking of swapping them out for two WSG Retro 30's and two Greenbacks. Will this work both tonally and wattage-wise (or whatever electrical issues there could be)? I'd lik...

Re: New Stage 60 soon, :)

Awesome dude, congrats. The 60-watt is a good amp, but I wasn't a fan of the speaker when I tried it out. Maybe it just needs to be broken in a bit or maybe you'll need to replace it, but I'm sure you'll like it.

Re: just got my new tubes this PM--whoaaaa!!

Ok, so I'm thinking of replacing at least two of my GT-75 speakers with WGS Retro 30's. They sound incredible, but I want to see if anyone has used them with the HT-100 and would recommend them.

Re: distortion pedal

I have Crunch Box too, but are you using it in clean channel? im curious to know. . . I actually use it on OD1. The gain on the amp is at about 12-1 o'clock and the Crunch Box actually gives a bit more of thicker sound, because the amp sounds a bit too trebly because of the V30 speakers in my cab. ...

Re: distortion pedal

For my HT 100, I've started using my Mi Audio Crunch Box more. It sounds great, especially for that 80's tone. It thickens up the sound and gives it a real dirty, powerful crunch.

Your favorite speakers for HT 100?

I haven't been on this forum much, but I'm loving the HT 100.

Anyways, I've got a question for you guys...What are your favorite speakers to use with the HT-100? V30s? Greenbacks?

Plexi-type tone help

Hey, So currently I've been happy playing on OD2 with the gain at about 3 or 4 and all EQ knobs on 10. If I turn down the treble and mids, it sounds a bit muddy to me, and if I turn down the bass it sounds kinda thin, so I just turn it all up to 10 and I feel good. However, I'm looking for a tone th...

Hard rock tone for HT100

I posted this in the settings section as well, but I thought I might get a quicker response if I posted this here as well. Ok, so I bought the Venue Series HT100 and I am very happy with it. :D However, I'm just kind of struggling to find a good 70s/80s hard rock tone (Van Halen, Led Zep, Motley Cru...

Suggestion for first Blackstar amp

Hello everybody, this is my first post on pretty much any guitar/amp forum. I'm also looking into buying my first half-stack. After a lot of researching, and a bit of testing out in person, I've narrowed down my choices to a Venue Series HT Studio 20h, a HT Stage HT-60, and a Stage HT-100. I know th...
