Re: HT60 blowing fuses and making crackling noises.
Get your tech to check the opamps, mine was doing the same thing.

Re: HT 60 blowing fuses
Had the same problem with my HT60. Had power valves replaced, and amp fully serviced, took it on a gig, it blew within 90 seconds! Took it back to the (highly expensive) tech, who checked every circuit, traced problem to badly soldered chips. Since then, it's been fine.

Re: Stage 60 at High Volume
Using Strats, one with high output alnicos, one with Texas Specials, and a Tele custom, Duncan bridge, Fender 'bucker, I get a great clean sound with volume 3 o'clock, unpushed, bass at 1 o'clock, treble at between 2 & 3, depending on venue. I have a Boss SD-1 (drive & tone appx 10 o'clock, unity le...

Re: HT 60 Stage ht fuse blown.
*******UPDATE******** Gigging last night, and the bloody fuse blew again! That's it, it's going. Much as I love the amp, I have enough to worry about during gigs, without the added stress of waiting for the damn thing to go silent on me. Amyone want to buy an HT 60 Stage, excellent condition, just u...

Re: Just got my HT-1 and I have a question
I'm not familiar with the amp, however, if there's an effects loop, I'd put the delay & verb in there.

Re: HT 60 Stage ht fuse blown.
My tech didn't have a problem dealing with the amp, but said life would be a lot easier with a schematic. I'm hoping this was a one off, as I really like the amp. If it happens again, I'll have to sell it, an unreliable amp is no use to me as I gig a lot. Time to start looking at an alternative meth...

HT 60 Stage ht fuse blown.
I was playing a gig last weekend, volume dropped, followed by complete silence. HT fuse had blown. The amp did feel pretty hot, though it always seems quite warm anyway. I replaced the fuse, amp powered up, and, sounded ok. Dropped the amp into my friendly local tech to have it checked over, results...

Re: Fly 3 or ID:Core 10
I can't comment on the Core - never played one. However, I do own a Fly, purely for home use (HT Stage 60 at gig volume is not neighbour friendly). The Fly is great for practising, the clean channel sounds pretty damn good with the gain pushed up, real nice bluesy o/d. The dirt channel can descend i...
