Re: Noisy effects loop

That's a good point. I've had problems in the past with other amps where a power supply placed too close will cause unwanted noise. This has happed even with some of the proper manufacturer recommended power supplies too. Unless you're prepared to spend serious money on a Vodoo Labs PSU or something...

Re: HT60 biasing question

I was under the impression the HT-60 was cathode biased like the HT-20 but after doing a little digging it seems I might be wrong (although I haven't found any definitive references one way or the other) . As such the HT-60 may need rebiasing after all, so apologies for any confusion caused on my pa...

Re: HT60 biasing question

That is correct as long as you buy them as a "matched" pair.

Re: Noisy effects loop

I use a Line 6 M9 in the effects loop all the time and don't have a noise issue.

Re: HT60 biasing question

As long as you buy a matched pair of EL34 valves, you shouldn't have to re-bias.

Re: Where Can I Order Casters for HT 60?

Well, the castors finally arrived and are now fitted. They needed a 25mm long M10 bolt per caster to fit on the footplates.

These are very gig-worthy casters indeed with good brakes.

Re: Where Can I Order Casters for HT 60?

Yes, the castors have a 10.2mm hole in the top, which is the clearance size to allow a 10mm bolt to slide through it, so you will need to buy a seperate bolt (and I daresay a flat and a spring washer) to attach it to the 10mm threaded hole in the plate on the bottom of the amp. Furthermore, I've now...

Re: Where Can I Order Casters for HT 60?

I'm going for a set of these for my S1-45 combo: http://www.bearingboys.co.uk/Light_Duty ... tor-1013-p which will also need a set of 10mm bolts to fix them to the cabinet plates. From previous experience, brakes are an essential option!

Re: Amp Covers for Blackstar amps

I use these covers on my amps: http://www.ampcovers.co.uk/search.asp?t ... =Blackstar

Just ordered one for my S1-45....although for an amp costing the very best part of a grand, you'd have thought a cover would've been included anyway!
