Blackstar Guinea Pig?

I love my Blackstar as can be attested to by 3 amps and two pedals. I was so keen to get.. and not miss out on a Gus G Blackfire Pedal..that..after searching worldwide via the net.. I ended up with two. Similar thing went for my HT5TH..I had that little bugger on order as soon as I saw it..but.. It ...

Re: update problem

I haven't read much about this lately but I do know that ID amps do have "issues" with firmware upgrades. I was one of the fist to own an ID260 and can tell you that I had to install the firmware form another computer and even had to use a second usb port on that same computer to complete the instal...

Re: Clicking Noise through EO

Well that is some mighty fine detective work! I was one of the first to have an ID260 and I brought the EO clicking noise to the attention of Blackstar only to be pretty much ignored. I just tried unplugging the FS10 and sure enough the clicking is gone. Thanks very much!.. This issue has been annoy...

Re: ID Series - Noise in Emulated Output

I was one of the first ID owners. I pretty much straight away noticed a digital clicking sound coming from the EO. It is pretty low level but enough be annoy anyone with good ears that wants a pristine recording. I not only brought his to the attention of Jamie from Blackstar but also sent him recor...

Re: Version update

It may seem extreme..but with the latest firmware upgrade out..and it still seeming tricky to install...I am going ahead and purchasing a second ID260. Having a backup should negate the worry of any "bugs' and possible downtime...this will blackstar amp number 4..overkill perhaps..piece of mind..def...

Re: Blackstar Emulated Output Revisited

Great stuff there! emulated out has some noise that I would prefer wasnt there (low lever type of clicking)....but think it should be ok in the mix as well...

Re: Emulated Output

I still notice a low level clicking type of sound coming via my emulated out. Only low level but enough to be annoying to me.

Re: InsIDer Thread

As I mentioned in an earlier post..I also had dramas with the firmware upgrade. I think that everything on the amp apart from the master section (resonance/presence/master Volume) should be tweak-able via insider. The insider web page does have a support page. Betwe...

Re: ID:FS10 Footswitch Availability

My other two blackstars are also gathering dust since getting the ID. :D Just on the foot-switch..I know that other midi footswitches will work with the ID via its midi in port..and they may give more accessibility to using the amp via midi.(foot controllers etc) But..the FS10 with using just the on...
