Re: Blackstar or !

I'm a Marshall guy for main rig stuff but my HT-5 has got me thinking about the ht100 to replace my Marshall JCM 900. From what I found thus far, the Blackstar stuff is a whole lot more versatile than Marshall. My only conflict is that I know my Marshall won't let me down because it's been proven ov...

Re: isf control question

I'd be interested in this as well because mine does the same thing. Maybe I've had my Marshall sound wrong all these years.

Re: Newbee has some HT-5 questions :-

Phew... Thanks for that. I've wangled a no quibble 4 year warranty out of them when I bought it so I'm covered and it sounds fine and I play it almost every day. I don't want to take it back because it's a 50 mile journy and they never have any in stock so I'd need to wait for another. Thanks for yo...

Re: Newbee has some HT-5 questions :-

ok.. its a bit unclear how it was hooked up before you noticed. the jacks for speakers are for either 1 16 ohm speaker, or the two series jacks, are for using one of them with an 8 ohm speaker, or both, each with a 16 ohm speaker. if two 16 ohm speakers were in use, and in each of the series jacks,...

Support???? Think I'll leave Blackstar alone until it matures

I've been a Marshall man through and through for years and there hasn’t been much that has managed to grab my attention until I tried my first HT-5. This led me to buy one for which I think is a fantastic little amp. Naturally, I've been thinking of selling my JCM 900 and going for the HT100 which a...

Newbee has some HT-5 questions :-

Hi folks, I’ve had my HT-5 stack for over a week now and I love it to bits. I’d normally find a few things I’d like to change on an amp by now but I really can’t find anything negative at all. Thanks Blackstar for not only giving us more choice but for giving that choice with quality. The first thin...

What lead me to Blackstar - High all from the UK in Lancashire

What lead me to the Blackstar HT-5 The amps I tried were :- Vox Night Train : - I was soooo tempted with this little beast. It sounded unbelievable and gave more gain than anyone could possibly need. What put me off was a couple of reasons. It doesn’t have an effects loop and it cost £100 more than...
