Re: noisy effects loop after upgrade to insider 1.61

Not sure if this will help, but I've found that the Blackstar FS-10 footswitch will cause a continuous clickity click pattern in the emulated out. It may add noise too.

If you're using the footswitch, try to unplug it and see if your noise goes away.

Hope that helps.

I believe you have to be signed in to the online community within Insider for the download button to appear.

Re: ID:60 TVP-H Emulated Output

Maybe this will help - maybe not.... http://www.blackstarinsider.co.uk/faqs.php Read #7 under the ID:Series FAQ's related to how the Emulated Out functions on the ID:60 and above. Can I use the emulated output as a headphone output. On the ID:15 and ID:30 the emulated output also doubles as a headph...

Re: Using headphones questions...

Guitar lead into guitar input on Amp. Emulated output on the amp to an audio input on your Akai EIE. Then plug your headphones into the Akai. The emulated output is in stereo, so you'll need either a 1/4" stereo cable or a splitter into the EIE. You could also try the USB out on the amp into the EIE...

Re: Using headphones questions...

From the Blacsktar Insider FAQ: Can I use the emulated output as a headphone output? On the ID:15 and ID:30 the emulated output also doubles as a headphone output. On the ID:60TVP, ID:60TVP-H, ID:260TVP and the ID:100TVP the emulated out is a line level output and not designed to power headphones. Y...

Re: ID60 vs. ID30 headphone volume comparison

Reference #25 in the link below. For an ID:60 and above you need a mixing board or headphone amplifier for headphone use.

Re: Headphones on ID 60 amp

See #25 on the Blackstar Insider FAQ: http://www.blackstarinsider.co.uk/faq.php On the ID:60TVP, ID:60TVP-H, ID:260TVP and the ID:100TVP the emulated out is a line level output and not designed to power headphones. You can however use headphones via the emulated out without causing any damage, but b...

Re: Headphones on an ID60 combo

On the ID:60 and above, the emulated out is not suitable for plugging headphones directly in. It is designed as an emulated output to send the amp signal to a PA or mixing board. If you want to use headphones and get decent volume, you'll need something like a stereo headphone amplifier or another d...

Re: Clicking Noise through EO

Hey guys. I believe markheus is on to something. I've also noticed a rapid clicking sound coming through the emulated output of my ID:260 just like the recording. I have my emulated output running into a BOSS JS-10. The clicking only appears when I have the FS-10 footswitch connected to the amp. Unp...

Re: ID Series - Noise in Emulated Output

Interesting.... I also have noise coming through my ID:260 emulated output, but the noise I get sounds more like a constant clicking in a rhythmic fashion. Sort of like a horse galloping. I have my amp hooked into the aux input of a Boss e-band JS-10 for recording and jamming. I'm curious as to what...
